Seasons Pizza was founded in 2009 by Marco and Elena Vitale, two first-generation Italian-Americans who grew up watching their grandmother transform simple, seasonal ingredients into extraordinary meals. When they opened their first counter on Concord Pike in Wilmington, Delaware, their philosophy was refreshingly simple: honor the season, honor the ingredient, honor the guest.
What started as a 12-seat shop with a single wood-fired oven has grown into a beloved Wilmington institution. We source produce from local Delaware and Pennsylvania farms, mill our flour from heritage wheat varieties, and change our specialty menu four times a year to reflect what's at its peak. Every pizza is still hand-stretched, every sauce still slow-cooked from scratch.

The First Oven Is Lit
Marco and Elena Vitale open a 12-seat pizzeria on Concord Pike with one wood-fired oven, three topping combinations, and an unwavering belief in seasonal simplicity.
Local Farming Partnership
We sign our first farm partnership with Green Valley Organics in Chester County, PA — the beginning of our commitment to truly local sourcing that continues to this day.
Best Pizza in Wilmington
Delaware Today Magazine names us Wilmington's Best Pizza — our first major recognition. The phone doesn't stop ringing for two weeks.
Expansion & New Kitchen
We double our dining room, add a second wood-fired oven, and build a proper prep kitchen — finally able to meet the demand we'd been turning away for years.
Catering & Events Launch
After years of requests, we launch our catering division — bringing Seasons Pizza to weddings, corporate events, and private parties across Delaware and the Philly suburbs.
Online Ordering & Delivery
We launch full online ordering and home delivery, making Seasons Pizza accessible to every corner of Wilmington — while keeping every pizza exactly as good as dine-in.

Marco Vitale
Trained in Naples and Philadelphia, Marco brings two culinary worlds together in every pizza he crafts. He personally approves every seasonal menu change.
Elena Vitale
Elena runs the business side with warmth and precision. She manages farm partnerships, trains the front-of-house team, and is usually the first friendly face you see.
Jordan Reyes
Jordan joined us in 2015 as a prep cook and worked his way up to lead pizzaiolo. His wood-fire technique is unmatched, and his autumn truffle pizza is legendary.
Priya Nair
Priya orchestrates every off-site event with effortless precision. From intimate dinner parties to 200-guest corporate events, she ensures every detail is perfect.
